1 Please Read Carefully
Please read this policy before submitting personal information through our website, apps, or onboarding flows, or before using our services. If you submit personal information to Voxago, we will process it in accordance with this policy.
2 Our Commitment
Voxago is committed to handling personal information responsibly and to keeping it accurate, current, and secure. We follow applicable privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Florida's Digital Bill of Rights, and, where relevant, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — and the principles those laws are built on: purpose limitation, data minimization, transparency, and accountability.
3 Children's Privacy
Voxago's services are intended for businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child under 18 has provided personal information to us, please contact privacy@voxago.com and we will delete it without delay.
4 What "Personal Information" Means
"Personal information" means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to a specific individual or household — whether or not it is true, and whether or not it is recorded.
5 Whose Information We Collect
We may collect personal and business information from:
- You directly — when you sign up, request a demo, contact support, or use the service.
- Authorized administrators of your company's Voxago account, who may submit information about end-users (employees, extensions, contacts).
- Other service providers, business partners, telecom carriers, payment processors, and verification providers, where they need to share information with us to provide a service to you or to us.
- Public sources and government registries (for example, business-verification or 10DLC brand-registration databases).
Where it is reasonable and practical, we collect information directly from the individual it relates to. Submitting another person's information without authorization is prohibited.
6 Information We Collect on Our Website and During Onboarding
When you sign up, request a quote, complete an order, or apply for credit, we may collect:
- Business information — company name, address, federal tax ID (EIN), incorporation date and state, industry, headcount, and authorized contacts.
- Personal information — first and last name, work address, phone number, business email, job title, and (where required for compliance or credit decisions) date of birth, government-issued ID number, or Social Security Number.
- Financial information — bank name (where required for billing), payment-card details (handled by our PCI-DSS compliant processors), authorized billing contacts, and credit-decisioning data.
- Usage information related to your account, including provisioned numbers, extensions, devices, and integrations.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories such as political opinions, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, or health data. Where call recordings or messaging content are stored on your behalf, we treat that data as a processor under your instructions.
7 Information You Provide Voluntarily
You may provide personal information when you:
- Use interactive features of our website (forms, chat, demo requests).
- Contact us for support, sales, or feedback.
- Take part in a survey, contest, promotion, webinar, or referral program.
If you choose not to provide information we ask for, some features or services may be unavailable.
8 Information Collected Automatically
Our systems automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our websites or use our apps, including:
- IP address, approximate geographic location, and ISP.
- Device and browser type, operating system, screen size, and language/timezone.
- Pages viewed, links clicked, referring URLs, and timestamps.
- Information from cookies, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies for analytics, fraud prevention, security, and diagnostics.
- For the calling, messaging, and meetings services: Call Detail Records (CDRs), message metadata, and quality-of-service telemetry — used to operate the network, troubleshoot issues, bill correctly, and meet legal obligations.
9 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third parties, such as:
- Business directories, identity-verification services, and KYC providers.
- Number-porting carriers and upstream telecom providers.
- Authentication providers and SSO/identity platforms used by your organization (e.g., Google, Microsoft).
- Integrations you choose to connect (e.g., CRM, helpdesk, calendar).
10 How We Use the Information We Collect
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Voxago platform and the features you use.
- Provision numbers, port telephone numbers, route calls and messages, and meet our regulatory obligations as a telecom service provider.
- Bill you and process payments through our payment partners.
- Communicate with you about your account, security alerts, service changes, and support requests.
- Tailor content on our website and product onboarding.
- Send marketing communications about products, features, and promotions (you can opt out at any time).
- Conduct research, analytics, and capacity planning.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, court orders, and lawful requests from public authorities.
11 Advertising and Analytics
We may work with advertising and analytics partners to measure the performance of our website and to deliver more relevant content. These partners may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information about your interaction with our site over time. The information is generally aggregated or pseudonymous and does not by itself identify you.
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Voxago honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.
12 Sharing With Service Providers and Telecom Partners
We share information with vetted third parties that help us run the business, including:
- Payment processors (e.g., card networks, ACH providers).
- Telecom carriers, number-porting providers, SMS aggregators, and E911 routing services.
- Cloud-infrastructure, email-delivery, and security vendors.
- Analytics, support-ticketing, and CRM platforms used to operate Voxago.
- Professional advisors (accountants, auditors, attorneys) under confidentiality obligations.
These partners are bound by contract to use your information only for the purposes for which we engage them and to protect it with appropriate safeguards.
We may also disclose information when required by law — including in response to subpoenas, court orders, or lawful regulatory requests — to enforce our agreements, to investigate suspected fraud or AUP violations, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Voxago, our customers, or others.
13 We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
Voxago does not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
14 Communications
We may use your contact information to send transactional messages (billing, security, service alerts) — these are part of the service and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
We may also send marketing communications (newsletters, product updates, promotions). You can opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email, replying STOP to a marketing SMS, or contacting privacy@voxago.com.
15 Security
Voxago uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including:
- TLS encryption for data in transit and AES-256 (or stronger) encryption at rest for sensitive stores.
- Role-based access controls, least-privilege provisioning, and mandatory multi-factor authentication for staff with access to production data.
- Network segmentation, intrusion detection, and 24/7 security monitoring.
- Background checks and confidentiality agreements for personnel.
- Vendor security assessments before granting third-party access.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to make a breach unlikely and to respond quickly if one occurs.
16 Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, and meet our legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary by data type — for example, billing records are typically kept for seven (7) years, Call Detail Records (CDRs) per applicable telecom requirements, and account profile data while your account is active and for a reasonable wind-down period after closure.
17 Data Quality, Access, and Correction
You can review and update most of your information directly inside your Voxago account portal. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you outside the portal, contact privacy@voxago.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
18 International Transfers
Voxago operates primarily from the United States. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
19 Your California Privacy Rights
California residents have the right under the CCPA/CPRA to know what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and with whom we share it; to request access, correction, or deletion; to opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising; and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. As stated above, Voxago does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise California rights, email privacy@voxago.com from the email address associated with your account, or write to the address below.
20 Your European/UK Rights
If you are located in the EEA or the UK, you have the right under GDPR/UK-GDPR to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
21 Complaints
If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first at privacy@voxago.com — we will respond promptly and work in good faith to resolve the issue.
22 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated version on our website with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-product banner. Please review this page periodically.
