a Enhanced 911 (E911) Service
Voxago does NOT support traditional 911. We route emergency calls through a third-party Enhanced 911 service ("E911") that delivers your call, the phone number on file, and the service address you registered with us to the appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP).
If you move any portable equipment (desk phone, ATA, softphone-enabled device) away from the billing/service address you provided to Voxago at activation, E911 cannot reliably route your call to a local PSAP, and Voxago will not be responsible in any way for the result.
b Power Outage
911 dialing through Voxago does not function during a power failure. If power to your phone, router, or modem is interrupted, the Service — including 911 dialing — will not work until power is restored. Once power returns, you may need to reset or reconfigure equipment before the Service or 911 will function again.
c Broadband / Internet Outage
Voxago relies on your broadband connection. If your internet provider goes down, has degraded performance, or is otherwise unavailable, ALL Voxago Service — including 911 dialing — will be unavailable until your broadband is restored.
d Account Suspension
If your Voxago account is suspended for any reason — including non-payment, billing disputes, or violation of our Terms of Service — ALL Service is suspended, and 911 dialing will not function.
e Other Service Outages
ANY interruption to the Service will also interrupt 911 dialing. Service outages can occur for many reasons, including (but not limited to) the causes listed elsewhere in your Voxago Service Agreement: network congestion, third-party carrier failures, scheduled maintenance, equipment damage, force-majeure events, software issues, and acts beyond Voxago's reasonable control.
Voxago strongly recommends that every customer maintain an alternative means of contacting emergency services — such as a mobile phone — at every location where Voxago Service is used.
f Notify Every User
If multiple people use your Voxago Service, you are responsible for making sure each user is aware of these E911 limitations. We recommend posting a notice near each device that uses the Service.
Stickers and printable notices are available on request — contact support@voxago.com.
g Acknowledgment
By activating Voxago Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these E911 limitations and accept that Voxago, its officers, employees, and affiliates have no liability for any claim, damage, or loss arising from the inability of the Service to reach emergency services, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.
